Imagine - Special Needs

Imagine Ministries believes that every child is created in God's image and that Jesus Christ desires to have a personal relationship with each one.  This ministry is dedicated to impacting the church and the community by equipping children of all abilities with the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

IMAGINE SUNDAY MORNING CLASSES
Imagine Ministires currently offers classes for children with special needs the following times:
10:00 am ...  Meet your 'Buddy' in room 106 and join age-appropriate Sunday classes.
11:30 am  ... Meet your 'Buddy' in room 106 and join age-appropriate Sunday classes.

Our classes are conducted in a loving, encouraging, and stimulating environment and includes music, Bible story time, play and crafts.  Children and young adults of all ages are welcome.

Imagine Ministries is staffed with wonderful volunteers who love the Lord and have a strong desire to care for and minister to our families and children with special needs. 

To participate, each child must have a current family profile and consent form on file.  We require these in order that our Imagine staff and volunteers my provide a safe environment for your child.  You may obtain a new family packet by contacting Annzena Tweedie at atweedie@willingdon.org.

Upcoming Special Events

Monday Night Out
An event held the last Monday of the month from 6:00-9:00pm for kids with special needs and their siblings so you can have a night out! MNO is led by loving Imagine volunteers and an on-site medic.
Monday Night Outs for 2008 are as follows:

October 27
November 24

If you are interested in registering your child please call Annzena at 604-435-5544 x.1021 or email her at atweedie@willingdon.org by the Friday prior. The cost is $5 per child and siblings are welcome.
