 Missions

What is Missions?

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.  And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."         (Matthew 28:19-20  ESV)

Missions is the cross-cultural enterprise of making disciples and planting re-producing churches in areas beyond the scope of the local ministry of Willingdon Church.  A missionary is a prepared believer commissioned and sent by the Holy Spirit and the local church to be involved in the cross-cultural enterprise of missions.
