An Introduction to Habakkuk : “A Glimpse of the Promised Land”
- Scripture Passage: Habakkuk 3:1-16
- Speaker: Senior Pastor John Neufeld
- Date: 5/30/2010
Just before Moses died, God took him to the top of Mount Nebo, and from there showed him the promised land. All that Moses could do was see it from afar, and dream about what Israel would receive. In a real way, Habakkuk 3 pictures the prophet standing before the promised land of the fulfillment of God’s promises. He too is given a glimpse, a brief vision of what God has in store. We are invited to stand beside him and marvel at what God has in store.
