The digital revolution means that the parenting tools available to the last generation just aren’t cutting it with the challenges of today. How do parents help their kids navigate a whole new world? How do they pass on unchanging values, in a constantly changing environment, to the next generation? What new tools are available, and old practices need to be re-affirmed, to equip and encourage parents in their greatest responsibility?
If you're a parent, guardian, or important adult in the life of a grade 5 - grade 12 student, we invite you to join us with guest speaker Sid Koop for a Zoom seminar on parenting in the digital age.
From camp speaker to local youth pastor to youth ministry professor, Sid draws from a deep well of experience over a couple decades. He is the Executive Director of Youth Worker Community where he and his team are dedicated to filling in the gaps for youth workers by equipping, empowering, and supporting youth workers to help the next generation know Jesus. Sid has a Masters in Youth and Family Ministries and is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry in Emerging Generations at Gordon-Conwell Seminary.
The Zoom link for this event has already been sent out to registrants. If you'd like to join at the last moment, please e-mail Lauren!
