The Society to End Homelessness in Burnaby is working towards the reduction and resolution of homelessness in the community of Burnaby. Due to the pandemic, many sources of funding have been reduced, so their upcoming fundraiser, Coldest Night of the Year, is especially important this year.
Coldest Night of the Year is a walkathon that can be completed by individuals or in team bubbles. We encourage you to walk 3-5 km anytime between February 13-20. Deer Lake is a possible route, but you are free to choose any location for your walk. All proceeds will go to the Society to End Homelessness and Burnaby Community Services, towards services for the vulnerable in our community.
There are three ways to get involved:
1) Donate Directly to the Coldest Night of the Year and consider sponsoring one of the teams in your community.
3) Consider joining our team and raise funds. For more info contact Brad firstname.lastname@example.org
