Jesus had Peter, John, and James as a close group with whom His disciple-making practices were lived out. Jesus taught them, sent them out and “debriefed” their experiences with them. He continually revealed who He was to them and drew them into His circle of friends (John 15:15), teaching them everything God His father had taught Him.
Like Jesus’ “inner circle,” these Willingdon Discipleship Groups meet together in the presence of Jesus
