We're so grateful to be able to show appreciation to our primary leaders (life group, discovery, alpha, men's, women's, young adults, marriage, healing discipleship). Please consider joining us for some delicious cuisine from Bread & Cheese Food Truck, connecting with other leaders and a brief Vision Casting time for the coming season.

The “groups” ministries of Willingdon Church are critical to walking with others in disciple-making and providing community and support during this unique season. You have led with great care and modelled Jesus to many in our congregation. Discipleship Ministry is excited to connect with you, thank you and communicate our sense of where God is leading us over the next year.

We will also be celebrating James VanderVeen ministry at Willingdon on the 25th. James and his family will be leaving for Waldheim, Sask. at the beginning of August to take on lead pastor role at Salem Church. While we are very sad that they are leaving our Willingdon family we want to celebrate this new ministry call on their lives.

We look forward to seeing you face to face!!!

Guided by the Province's Phase 3 reopening, and to keep everyone as safe as possible, RSVP BY REGISTRATION & WAIVER IS REQUIRED. If you plan to attend, you must register individually for you and your spouse. We will offer four 1-hr seating and cap the attendance to 30 people per seating. We have limited spaces so we ask only for primary leaders (and spouse) to attend this event. We will also be implementing the following safety and health measures for this gathering:

  • If you are sick or feeling typical symptoms such as fever, cough etc., please do not come.
  • Please arrive on time, a few minutes before or after is alright. We will be asking people to make their way to their cars following the time periods.
  • We plan to meet outside, the weather forecast looks great! There are portable washrooms in the secure garden. The church building is off-limits.
  • If it rains, we will move it to the Chapel or cancel the event (an email will be sent out by Friday 6pm)
  • We would also recommend that you be prayerful and wise in your attendance. If you have previous health conditions, are immunocompromised, or are in the vulnerable sector, then continue to follow the guidance of our provincial authorities, and perhaps the best wisdom for you would be to stay home. Our brief vision casting will be made available to you online at a later date.

REGISTRATION CLOSES ON JULY 23 OR WHEN ALL SPOTS ARE TAKEN.
