Good Evening Fellow Riders,
Attached is our ride schedule for this upcoming season. For those that missed the information sessions, we plan to abide by the Provincial Government rules on social distancing. The ride captains for each ride have selected destinations/stopping points where we can safely do so.
You will note the kick-off ride this season is scheduled for Saturday, Jun 6, 2020, at 10 am starting at the Willingdon Church parking lot. The address is 4812 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby. This year we have scheduled the ride a little differently. We will meet at 10 am, have a short time of fellowship, and then ride north to Porteau Cove for a brief stop, and then ride to Confederation Park where we will stop for lunch and fellowship. Please bring your own lunch. Soft drinks, water, and some snacks will be available. Pastors Ray and/or Willie plan to be on hand to help kick off the season.
We will be watching the weather forecast closely, and if the conditions are unsafe, we will postpone the kick-off. We will send out an email by 4 pm Friday if we proceed or postpone the ride.
For our Thursday nite rides, we typically start at 6:30 pm with fellowship, a short devotion, and then the ride. Please note kickstands up at 7 pm. Please arrive with a full tank of gas.
We look forward to riding and fellowshipping with you again. If you have any friends or acquaintances that would like to join us, please pass on the information. All riders and skill levels are most welcome.

WC Motorcycle Riders Update
Happy New Year Fellow Riders!
We hope you had a blessed Christmas Season with family and friends. All the very best in 2020!
It seems so long ago that we finished the last ride of the 2019 season.
Most of us have our bikes parked for the winter months, so I’m sure many of you are itching to ride. Here are some events that you can engage in while we wait for the ride season.
One of the popular winter events for motorcycle riders is The Motorcycle Show held Jan 24-26, 2020 at the Tradex Convention Center in Abbotsford. Tickets are $15 each, but many dealerships carry them for $12 each. Hope to see you there.
Also, many of the riders at Willingdon Church have participated in serving on the downtown eastside, preparing and serving meals at Potters Place. Each month, we assemble teams of 10-12 to serve together. It’s a great chance to give back to the community, be a blessing to others and in turn, be blessed yourself. Upcoming dates are Jan 26, Feb 29, Mar 22, and Apr 26. This is open to ALL, riders, non-riders, co-workers, friends, families, etc.
Video clip: Serving at Potter's Place
We had another blessed evening serving at Potter's Place on the weekend. A big thank you to all of you serving Sunday night. We sensed people were blessed with not only with a meal, but a time where they were warm and dry. They were also blessed with blankets and pillows that the team brought with them.
We are now filling teams for the following dates,
Saturday, Feb 29, 2020 - 8pm
Sunday, Mar 22, 2020 - 8pm
Sunday, Apr 26, 2020 - 8pm
If interested in serving, please contact email@example.com.

On a dry night, we meet at 6:30 pm for fellowship and devotions. We head out for an evening ride at 7 pm.
We welcome all riders (novice, experienced, men, women, younger or young at heart) and all types of motorcycles. We hope you do join us this season for riding, fellowship, service, outreach, and growing Christian community.
