What does Converge hope to accomplish?
Our hope and prayer for you is that you’d be uplifted and encouraged anew as you engage in worship and fellowship with other Christian young adults.
Additionally, we pray that the seeds planted at Converge would take root and produce fruit that would bless you personally, the local church you call home, and the places where you study, work, and play.
How did Converge come about?
As early as November 2023, God stirred within the hearts of Young Adult pastors across the Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley areas to collaborate in order to create a space where YA communities can (1) unify as one Body to lift up the name of Jesus in worship, (2) be exhorted and encouraged by His word, and (3) engage in inter-church fellowship.
As YA pastors and leaders engaged in prayerful conversation over the span of almost a year, the Lord graciously provided meaningful guidance and direction as to how this connection space could materialize.
Fast forward to November 29, 2024 (Friday), which is the date that Converge will be taking place! After months of prayer, deliberation, and planning, we’re excited to see the Lord’s plan for our Young Adult communities culminate and continue to unfold.

Q1: How much are tickets/admission?
A: Admission is FREE! Secure a ticket from the EventBrite event page if you plan on attending.
Q2: Who’s invited to join Converge?
A: All Young Adults in the Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley areas aged 18-30+ are invited to attend. Tell a friend to tell a friend!
Q3: I’m a Young Adults pastor, leader, or member who doesn’t attend Willingdon Church. How can my Young Adults group participate?
A: To get looped in on all things Converge, contact our organizers via email (converge.gva[at]gmail.com). All Young Adult pastors, leaders, and members are welcome to inquire and join.
Q4: What if I can’t make it right when doors open at 7PM?
A: No worries! Attend as early as you can. Doors open and we’ll be having fellowship over poutine and refreshments starting at 7PM. Attendees will transition to the Sanctuary at 7:45PM for the start of the joint worship service.
