This time we will be collecting not only food but also clothing for refugee families and individuals currently in transitional housing spaces with Journey Home Community.
We are collecting ONLY Spring and Summer clothing, along with rainwear and light outwear.
Journey Home Community is doing a one time spring pop-up clothing drive for the newly arrived refugee claimants within the Journey Home community.
They are looking for new, or gently used, and pre washed clothes and/or shoes for all genders and ages.
Accessories, winter clothes or unsuitable clothes will not be accepted at this time.
If you have items that fit this criteria, please Drop off food and clothing either at BCIT parking or church lobby during 8:15am to noon on Sunday March 2nd
At this time, Journey Home Community is not able to receive donations directly at their office, but they will work with us to arrange a pick up from our church.

In 2024, your generous food donation at each month’s Food Drive helped us support over 500 individuals—both within Willingdon through ministries like Care, Connect, Outreach, Refugees, and ILM, and through powerful partnerships with other churches and organizations, extending our impact far beyond our church family.
Thank you, Church Family, for your generosity! To stay part of this ministry, remember to bring food donations on the first Sunday of each month. Drop them off at the Food Drive trailer or kiosk at BCIT parking or the church lobby, and let’s keep spreading hope and love in our community.
