Connect & Explore - Alpha program is designed for people who are exploring Christianity. It serves as a pre-discovery class by using 4 weeks of Alpha videos, providing space for people to explore and ask questions about Christianity.
What does a typical Connect & Explore- Alpha looks like?
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be warmly welcomed! We begin by gathering as a group, getting to know each other, and enjoying a light lunch together on Sundays. This time helps create an open, light-hearted atmosphere where meaningful connections can form.
Next, we’ll break into smaller groups of people. These will be the people you’ll watch the videos with, discuss with, and come to know well through the 4 weeks. The videos (produced by Alpha International) are about 30 minutes each and they introduce big questions that will frame the discussion to follow. Each session has time for connection and space for a conversation about life, faith, and God.
More than anything, we hope to walk alongside you as you explore faith and take steps in your journey with Jesus. Our desire is to create a space where you feel a sense of belonging – to Jesus and to the larger Willingdon Church family.
