Not all of us are called to serve internationally, but all of us are called to participate in God’s global mission. This page provides opportunities to pray, give, encourage, and more.

This is the best way to get a current glimpse of what is going on in the lives and ministries of Willingdon missionaries! Each week, we are joined by missionaries serving around the world. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know our missionaries, and encourage them in real-time by praying with them.
If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:17-18
September – May
Join us on Tues morning from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm in HQ/1500 on the lower floor.
Mission Circle is a ministry where we gather every Tuesday morning to support our missionaries, our short-term mission groups, other mission agencies worldwide, and each other in practical ways through:
It is through the making and distributing of these practical items doors have been opened, allowing the message of Jesus to be preached, resulting in lives being changed.
If you would like to be a part of a vibrant, laughter filled, energetic ministry come check us out, all are welcome, women and men alike. There is something to do for everyone.
For those who can’t join us in person there are still ways to be a part of this ministry.

Willingdon Church supports a whole team of global missionaries, and part of our role as their sending church is to provide care, support and relationship.
Here are some ideas:
Pick a missionary or two that you and your family will pray for regularly. If you aren’t already signed up to receive their regular prayer updates, contact us and we’ll put you in direct contact with the missionaries.
As a small group, consider adopting a missionary. Be intentional about praying for them regularly, engaging in financial support, paying attention to details in thier lives like anniversaries and birthdays. When they are in Canada, make sure to invite and include them in the things your small group is doing.
Missionaries are often blessed when people from their sending church show up for a few days. If you are planning a visit to a missionary, please contact Pastor John Best before you go, so that we can resource you with strategies and ideas that will likely be a blessing to the missionary.
If you are interested in standing with a missionary in some intentional way, please contact Pastor John Best.

Has the Lord put a specific call on your life to engage in long-term mission as an overseas missionary? If you think so, we would love to walk with you in discerning this. We are excited when the Lord calls people from our Willingdon Church family into a missionary career, and we are committed to walking with you as you discern and walk out this call. Please contact Pastor John Best for further conversation.
