Why should I do a neighbourhood clean-up and prayer walk?

We are called to love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, and to love our neighbours as ourselves. A neighbourhood clean-up and prayer walk provides us with a great opportunity to do just that. 

As you clean up around your neighbourhood, not only are you helping to be a good steward of our world, but you also create meaningful opportunities to get to know your neighbours.

Secondly, as you get to know your neighbourhood, you are better equipped to pray for your neighbourhood in specific ways. 

Supplies for clean-up

• Good gloves
• Garbage bags
• Garbage pickers (local hardware store)
• Bright clothing
