Willingdon Church partners with the Society to End Homelessness in Burnaby, and we are looking for volunteers to help with outreach to the vulnerable at Neighbourhood Church in Edmonds area - Walker Ave. and Arcola St.

The Society To End Homelessness In Burnaby

Neighbourhood Church hosts the Society To End Homelessness’ outreach for the vulnerable in Burnaby.  Willingdon Church is one of many partners of the society desiring to serve the needs of the vulnerable in our community. Volunteers are needed to help on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings. 

Ways to Serve

  • Tuesday afternoon (12:00 pm – 2:00 pm): Preparing for food distribution
  • Tuesday afternoon (2:00 pm – 4:30 pm): Food distribution
  • Thursday morning (7:00 am – 8:00 am): Volunteers for setup (tables, tents, and chairs). 
  • Thursday morning (8:30 am – 12:00 pm): Volunteers for serving hot drinks and meals, and take down (tables, tents, and chairs).
  • Friday morning (8:00 am – 10:00 am): Volunteers for sorting Food Bank donations.
