Journey Home Community

Ongoing

Inspired by God's love, Journey Home Community creates communities that offer refugee claimants housing, settlement support, and opportunities for connection. Journey Home is looking for volunteers who can help refugee families settle in Canada.

Willingdon House Community Dinner

Come and celebrate our partnership with Journey Home Community as we share a meal with the Willingdon House live-in hosts Doris and Dan and meet some families who have experienced the opportunity to live in one of Journey Home's transition houses. This will be a time of good food, celebration, story sharing, sharing God's love with others, and an opportunity to see how God is blessing refugees through Willingdon Church. Commit to a community meal once a month with your life group and or family, or choose one meal to join! Please contact moc.nodgnilliw@itanahgs and register to volunteer with Journey Home Community by clicking the button.

We partner with Journey Home in supporting transitional housing for the refugee claimants they serve. The home we support is called the “Willingdon House.”  Dozens of refugee individuals and families stay in this home each year.
