What Does KBNF Do?

Korle-Bu Neuroscience Foundation (KBNF) has been around for 20 years serving the most vulnerable in West Africa.

KBNF ships containers filled with medical supplies and equipment to hospitals and clinics to help improve healthcare. They focus on neurosurgery but understand that the infrastructure of the healthcare system is the foundation on which they build to accomplish their goals. They have been privileged to send 2 ambulances to Liberia as part of this effort.

How to Serve

Volunteers are needed to help sort linens and medical supplies that will be shipped in medical containers to West Africa. This opportunity is family-friendly and can accommodate individuals or groups.

Volunteer opportunities are:

  • Monday nights from 6-9pm
  • Wednesday and Fridays from 11am – 2pm
  • Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month (not on statutory holidays)
