The Diaspora ministry in which Antony is involved desires to serve with the local churches to reach out to Asian people groups in Canada. OMF as a missions organization, is committed to serve the East Asian in Asia and around the world amongst the diaspora. When we talk about East Asia, it covers the areas north from Mongolia all the way to the south reaching Indonesia, and east from Japan to the west covering the longitude beyond China.
“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” (Revelation 7:9-10) Look and behold, can you see the multitude? Every nation , from all tribes and peoples and languages, they are just ACROSS THE STREETS in Canada. The difference of today’s reality and the vision in Revelation is – most of those from today’s multitude would not cry out with a loud voice – “salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” because they do not know the Lamb, and He is not their God. With studies of demographic, seeking the vision, identifying the people groups, working on strategies, connecting with like-minded churches, we would like to see the “Multitudes” ACROSS THE STREETS in Canada to be reached by the churches of Jesus Christ.
