The Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership helps learners grow in their love for God and develop practical skills for leading missional change in their relationships, churches, workplaces, and communities.
Offered onsite, learners can register as for-credit or audit students. The Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership offered by MB Seminary (MBS) is constructed as a full 48 semester-hour master’s degree, but anyone is welcome and encouraged to enroll in individual courses.

How the Program Works
Each course is two months long, with teaching sessions offered as a weekend intensive (Thursday and Friday evenings, and Saturday morning).
If you’re unsure about registering for the entire program, or if you are only interested in a specific topic, enrol in individual courses. Our current cohort of students includes people serving in many areas of church life including international language ministries, discovery group leaders, welcome ministry, outreach and Life Groups. We have students aged 25-75, and many different cultures represented. All are welcome to join!
Students and the church will each benefit as learners apply what they learn in their areas of ministry and develop capacity for greater missional effectiveness. The heart of this degree centers around three certificates:
Each certificate is contextualized to the learner’s local ministry. In addition, learners will take the Mennonite Brethren Story course and two electives to broaden their skills or focus on a specific area of interest. An applied ministry project is also required, which helps learners integrate theory into practice.
