Partners In Mission
Since the creation of MB Mission, our team has included more than 2,400 people as long-term missionaries. Hundreds more have served for shorter periods of overseas ministry and thousands have served on short-term teams. Also included in our team are the churches and individuals who have helped to fund the work, prayed for missionaries and new believers, and hosted missionaries in their churches and homes.
Thank you for your gifts, prayers, and partnership. We look forward to the future with expectation that God will continue to do great things through MB Mission and the wider Mennonite Brethren family.
For nearly 40 years, WorldServe Ministries has equipped local churches around the world to be the hands and feet of Jesus in their communities.
As a non-denominational, Christian ministry based in Canada, our work is as diverse as our partners, but we are all united with one purpose--to glorify God. We do this by partnering with, strengthening, and equipping local churches in China, Ethiopia, Cuba, and Myanmar. By supporting church planting pastors, offering Christian leadership training, and distributing Bibles--as well as providing practical helps, such as famine relief, micro business projects, caring for needy children, and community health initiatives, we are seeing communities change and the influence of the local church grow. The local church is making history in the countries where we work.
Hidden for many years in the Amazon Basin, Project Amazon represents a powerful movement in church-planting and disciple-making. The vision of Project Amazon is to plant 100,000 churches, concentrating on the unreached Amazon Basin and moving out to all of Brazil and the world. This intense focus on the Great Commission has been met with God’s blessing and favor in extraordinary ways.
Often, the biggest things have the smallest of starts. And that’s the way it’s been with PAZ. Since it’s beginning in 1976, PAZ (Project AmaZon) has planted over 600 churches and has raised up thousands of leaders. These leaders are reproducing themselves in the lives of others and sending teams out to other needy places to start the process all over again.
As one of the world’s leading child development organizations, Compassion partners with the local church in 26 countries to end poverty in the lives of children and their families.
Today, more than 1.6 million children are discovering lives full of promise and purpose as they develop in all the different aspects of their lives—their minds, bodies and relationships while discovering God’s love for them in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Willingdon Church has a growing partnership with Compassion Canada. We encourage you to consider making a transformative difference in the life of a child by sponsoring a child. But beware! You might be transformed in the process too!
