The Road Less Travelled

The Beautiful Way Part 2 - Matthew

Intro

Robert Frost penned the famous poem “The Road Not Taken,” first published in 1916. The last verse of the poem reads;

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by, (the narrow road)
And that has made all the difference.

When we consider becoming a Christ-follower, we will need to make a choice. Which road in life will we take? Will it be the “broad road” chosen by the majority or the “narrow road” selected by the few? Today we examine the choices that lay before us.

Questions for Reflection:

1. Do you serve or give to be accepted by God or do you serve and give because you are accepted by God?

2. If you serve/give to be accepted by God, ask God to forgive you for believing the lie that you have to work for God’s love and forgiveness.

3. Thank God for sending Jesus to take on your sin so you can live free in relationship with Him.
