Food Container for Cubans

Cuba Container Project

Willingdon's Response

Update Summer 2021: Thank you for your overwhelming generosity that helped us reach our goal for funding the Cuba Food Container Project.

Willingdon Church is partnering with World Serve to help Cuban churches bring relief to those in need by raising funds to send one shipping container full of dried beans to the country providing much-needed protein to those who are hungry. This container will provide an estimated 600,000 meals.

By reaching our goal we will be able to purchase, fill, ship and enable the distribution of the container and its contents.

If you would like to continue to help, additional information on Cuban Humanitarian relief is available on WorldServe’s website.

The Situation In Cuba

Due to the current COVID 19 pandemic, there are chronic food supply shortages making food unaffordable for the majority of Cubans. The food shortage has affected the entire nation especially those who rely on support like the elderly, children and people with disabilities. Many are in need of nourishing meals and hope for tomorrow through the Gospel message.

World Serve is bringing in food relief that is distributed by trusted World Serve partners and local pastors demonstrating the love of Jesus through this important project.
