Matthew 1:18-25

The Christmas story is a story filled with drama, suspense, miracles, heavenly visitations and the fulfillment of the hope of the ages. If we read it rightly, we are amazed, not by the decisions that people make, but by the fact that God has broken into human history, orchestrated the events of his coming, and insured that the outcome would be precisely what he wanted. Christmas, however, reminds us of much more than the fact that God is in control; it reminds us that God has sent us a savior.
