Every good story has a wonderful ending. The same is true for the most theological book in the Bible. Paul ends this magnificent book by promising that the gospel is not a passing fad, but is the outworking of the mystery of God. Paul ends the book in the same way he began – by emphasizing the gospel. For us today, we need to be assured that while we are sometimes hard pressed, what has occurred in us is permanent. In the end, the church will be triumphant to the glory of God.
