Habakkuk 1:1-11

When Abraham was told of the coming destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, he contemplated that this act might mean the destruction of both the wicked and the righteous at the same time. He then asked, “Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?” (Genesis 18:25) As we begin our study in Habakkuk, we will be invited to ask the same question. If God is sovereign, how can it be that the earth is in the state it is in? Let’s find out.
