I Corinthians 15:50-58
Death is a topic that few of us like talking about. Although it is a universal human experience, people through all ages and in all cultures have sought to find ways to stand against it, lessen its impact and to grapple with its consequences. In the last verses of 1 Corinthians 15 the Apostle Paul explains that as believers, we no longer fear death because in the end, even death itself will be defeated by God. Though we still suffer its effects in our life, on the day that Christ returns, death itself will come to an end. Therefore we live this life and approach death with a different perspective than the world around us.
