Matthew 5:1-6

The fact that everyone complains reminds us that everyone yearns for something better. We are not satisfied, but long to be satisfied. When Jesus began the greatest sermon ever preached, he began by appealing to a universal human desire, the desire to experience enduring joy. That joy is only available by entering into God’s Kingdom. But who gets in? And why would anyone want to get in? Jesus answers this fully.
