What Did Jesus Think?

Philippians 2:5-11

Most of us in the Christian community are familiar with the letters, “WWJD”. They stand for, “What would Jesus do?” Christians are encouraged, when approaching decisions, or when acting to first consider what Jesus would have done if he had faced the same situation or decision we do. Much can be said to commend this. However, it must be admitted that many people following this rule are often speculating. Also, simply knowing what Jesus would do might not be enough. We might be incapable of doing what he did.

In our passage today, Paul introduces us to a different concept. Perhaps we should use the letters, “WDJT”, or “What did Jesus think?” Furthermore, Paul encourages us to think just like Jesus did. Today we will learn both what Jesus thought and how it is possible to think the same way.
