Matthew 12:46-50

No one has a perfect family. Not you. Not me. Not even Jesus. In fact, while Jesus never married and had children, the family that he grew up with – his brothers and sisters and even his mother – were far from perfect. In the passage we are looking at today, he uses an interaction with them to explain to us that there is another family – the family of God – that we are part of. And while it isn’t a perfect family either, if we live according to the desires of our Heavenly Father, it is nevertheless, a beautiful family to be part of.
