Our world presents us with a banquet of religious options. Not only is Canadian society multi-ethnic and multi-cultural, it is also tolerant of religious pluralism. In other words, Canada tends to celebrate diversity of religious experience as something good and healthy and is deeply suspicious of attempts to privilege one way or teaching as normative for all. Individuals draw from many streams and create their own spiritual paths. Even within the Christian church, there is tremendous diversity. We live in the world of fusion. So, in the midst of such religious diversity and so many different church movements waving the banner of Jesus, how do we discern the true way of Jesus?
