Galatians 1:1-10

Sometimes we find ourselves in life situations (family, work, church) where we perceive something that others around us seemingly do not perceive.  Often, our emotional response to what we discern to be dangerous, unjust, or deceptive takes others by surprise.

As we open Paul’s letter to the Galatians, the first thing that shocks us is his tone.  Normally, when Paul opens a letter, after some initial greetings, he will transition to a prayer of thanksgiving and some pleasantries.  In this letter, Paul is visibly disturbed right from the beginning, even angry!  Why?
