Galatians 4:21-5:1

Biological parents have a tremendous influence on us (e.g., worldview, beliefs, values, behaviors). Paul, in chapters 3 and 4 of his letter to the Galatians, speaks of spiritual parenthood. He wants the believers to understand what it means for them to have Abraham as their spiritual father. This will help them understand their identity in Christ. In the second half of chapter 4, he shifts to a conversation about who their mother is. Why is it important for the Galatians to know who she is? Why is it significant for us today?
