Living with “the end in mind” is a way of seeing, a worldview. At the heart of a worldview, you have core beliefs, which determine your thought patterns, your values (what is important to you) and your behaviour. Our relationship with money and possessions reveals our heart attitudes and values in a very tangible manner.
As we honour mothers today, we are reminded they teach their children how to see the world. Christian mothers have the wonderful, God-given opportunity to invest in their children and provide them with a biblical way of seeing – to teach them to live with “the end in mind” – in their serving, speaking, and giving.
