Matthew 13:44-46

Have you ever found a treasure? Have you ever been out minding your business only to have something catch your attention and it turns out to be a valuable treasure? If you were to be honest with yourself, what would you say your “treasure detector” is set for? For many people, it’s money; but we want money to provide something for us. We’re hunting for security, independence, provision for ourselves and our family. Some are searching for self-sufficiency, status, control, or perhaps experiences that money can provide. Think about what you’re willing to “give up” to claim that treasure. We are all on a treasure hunt of some kind, and we’re all giving up certain things to take hold of that treasure.
