Do you want to know what’s going to happen in the future? I know I do. People have always wanted to know the future. We’re insatiably curious and anxious about the future. We want to know how things are going to turn out, and we can! How?

Today is an important day in the Christian calendar. Today we celebrate the intersection between the past, present, and future that God has for us. Palm Sunday is the day Jesus fulfilled the past with actions that pointed to a future reality which gives us confidence to live with hope in the midst of the unknown.

Reflection Questions

• What are your concerns about the future? Do you live with fear or with hope?
• Have you given your fears to Jesus? Write them down and give them to Him one by one. Give your fear to Jesus in prayer and ask Him to show His corresponding promise in return. (Look up Bible passages that confirm Jesus’ promise to us).
• Ask Jesus who He wants you to share His love and peace with. If a name comes to mind, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in knowing how to communicate Jesus’ love and peace to them.
