Human Sexuality - Romans
In the first message of this series, we recognized that we are all created for relational intimacy. We presented a biblical definition of marriage. “Marriage is an exclusive, covenant relationship for life between one man and one woman, publically recognized, consummated by sexual union providing an environment for bearing and nurturing children.” We also said that God says NO to all sexual activity, both physical and emotional, outside of the one-flesh marriage union. Where do people outside of the marriage union find intimacy? What is the answer for the loneliness of people, irrespective of their gender or sexual orientation?
