The Feeding of the Five Thousand is one of Jesus’ most iconic miracles. To many, it is a familiar story of incredible provision. But just because it is familiar, it does not mean we won’t be surprised by some of the things we read in it. If we are willing to look closely, we will find out that there is much more going on in this story than we first expected.
