May 26 - 28
Do you ever find yourself feeling overwhelmed, overstretched, and exhausted? Finding little to no time to quiet yourself and hear God’s voice. Too often we can find ourselves struggling to balance our roles & responsibilities. Trying to juggle it all within the limited hours in our days. We can easily slip into overdrive, seeking perfection rather than His presence. God is jealous of our time. Come take a Sabbath, join us at the Willingdon Women’s Retreat to find out what true rest in Christ means.
We will lead by Priscilla Shirer’s DVD “Breathe – Making Room for Sabbath” study. Through the accompanying Bible study and discussions, we will explore how to trust in God’s provisions and Sabbath. We will also hear testimonies from Patti-Rae Redekopp and Doris Mah, sharing the journey the Lord currently has them on. Come, let us discover together what it means to truly rest in Jesus.

1. Locating the Real Treasure: Biblical Reasons to be Organized
Workshop Speaker: Dese Fulljames
Have you ever felt too busy for God? Too overwhelmed, rushed, or un-focused? No time to pray? The goal of organization, home management, and stewardship of our resources must always be to create an environment that can grow our relationship with God, our family, and others, and to leave us free to spend time with God without having to worry about what needs to be done.
We are going to look at five passages which show us Biblical reasons to be organized.
As the owner of Come on In Organizing and since I have completed my certification in professional organizing my great passion has been helping people to identify the true treasures in their lives while clearing out the “stuff” that has been holding them back. As a child, much to my parent’s chagrin, I would re-organize the house and was always trying to find “better ways” to reduce chaos. I was baptized at Willingdon church as an adult and was raised in a Christian home by very loving parents. I understand the importance of creating space to allow God to work in our lives.
2. Writing out your Faith
Workshop Speaker: Patti-Rae Redekopp
Keeping a journal is a great tool for changing your prayer life or recording a season of your life. Come, be encouraged to start or challenged to add some creativity or peruse the different styles and mediums that will inspire and engage you.
Workshop Leader: Rosanna Morales
Zumba is a latin-based dance fitness class that uses core latin rhythms combined with fitness variations. This simple, fun, customizable class is great for all ages and fitness levels as each student can control their intensity and range of motion. Come and wake your body up with lively music, fun choreography followed by some quiet stretching, prayer, and reflection time to prepare your heart for message God wants you to hear.
