Course Description & Objectives
Thursdays | April 15 – June 3 (8 sessions) | 7:00 – 8:30 pm via Zoom
Through this course you will learn about the miracle of the Bible including its origin, collection, and preservation. You will also be introduced to basic principles and practices of hermeneutics and exegesis helpful for deeper Bible study and correct interpretation of Scriptures.
1. To create an appreciation of the Bible as the inspired, inerrant Word of God.
2. To develop procedures and tools to aid in personal study of the Bible.
3. To encourage the pursuit of life-long biblical study.
Instructor: Jorge Salazar
Dr. Jorge A. Salazar has been a church planter, a pastor and a Bible teacher for more than two decades. He authored the book in Spanish "¿Por qué la Biblia?" (Why the Bible), and has been devoted to the training of indigenous pastors and church leaders all over the world. His passion for the Bible took him through studies in Theology in all levels, culminating with a PhD in Systematic Theology. His wife and their three boys serve the Lord wholeheartedly in different capacities.
