Genesis

WSBM 209

Where did we come from? What went wrong? What can be done to help us? Where are we going? The most basic questions of life are introduced in the first book of the Bible. The word genesis means “the origin of something,” and the book of Genesis explains the beginnings of the world and God’s chosen people, as well as the problem of evil and God’s solution for it. In this course, we will learn to read the Genesis narratives in context, paying close attention to the unfolding story of creation, sin and redemption, and seeking to find our place within it.
