A Family That Disciples

Intro

The letter of 2 Timothy was written by Paul, the apostle. Most of the letters in the New Testament were written by him. But this letter is different. It’s unique in that it is the final letter that Paul wrote that we have in the New Testament before his death. And so it gives us a window into the heart and mind of a man who is writing his final letter while sitting in prison for his faith, expecting that he would soon be executed for his faith.

Questions for Reflection:

  • Do you sense God asking you to take initiative in connecting with others at church? If so, what will you do about it?
  • Do you sense God asking you to be determined to enter into the life of someone to become a spiritual father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, uncle, or aunt? Is there someone in particular?
  • Do you sense the Lord asking you to be more intentional as a discipler? What does that look like?
