Food Drive

On the first Sunday of each month, bring non-perishable and non-expired food to bless those in need.

Food Drive – Suggested Item List:

  • Canned protein (fish, chicken & meat)
  • Canned black beans, chickpeas, and kidney beans
  • Canned vegetables
  • Canned fruit
  • Canned Soup
  • Dried lentils, beans, soup mix
  • Nuts and/or Seeds
  • Natural Peanut butter
  • Brown rice, barley and whole wheat pasta
  • Powdered skim milk
  • Hearty stews with 10g or more protein
  • Cookies, crackers
  • Toiletries
  • Feminine Hygiene Products
  • Shampoo
  • Toilet Paper
  • Baby food, baby cereal etc
  • Size 5/6 diapers
  • Formula.

No bulk foods please.

In 2024, your generous food donation at each month’s Food Drive helped us support over 500 individuals—both within Willingdon through ministries like Care, Connect, Outreach, Refugees, and ILM, and through powerful partnerships with other churches and organizations, extending our impact far beyond our church family.

Thank you, Church Family, for your generosity! To stay part of this ministry, remember to bring food donations on the first Sunday of each month.  Drop them off at the Food Drive trailer or kiosk at BCIT parking or the church lobby, and let’s keep spreading hope and love in our community.
