Intro

We come to this conversation about human sexuality from different places. Some enter the conversation eagerly; others only remember painful experiences. If we as a church family reflect the Canadian population, about 96% of us are heterosexual, 1.7% is gay or lesbian, 1.3% is bisexual, and another 1% may identify in some other way (Stats Can 2014). 1 in 6 men and 1 in 3 women have been sexually abused. We’re talking about us here; not about them out there. So, this is a very necessary, but also a very sensitive conversation. I pray that we will all listen to the Spirit of God through the Scriptures. What does God think?
