Event and Food Services Coordinator

Full Time

Willingdon Church is looking for an individual to manage the allocation of facilities and resources in order to create an environment that maximizes ministry opportunities at Willingdon. This role coordinates all ministry, community, and rental groups in using space at Willingdon. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, detail orientated, and demonstrate a love for people.

The position will entail:

  • Event execution and planning experience in hospitality, large facility, corporate or Christian environment
  • Experience with event management software program and MS Office
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Requires flexible work hours including evenings and weekend.

Technical Director

Full Time

Willingdon Church is looking for a full-time Technical Director (TD) who is passionate about implementing technology to create environments that engage and inspire people to worship and pursue a closer relationship with God. The TD will ensure proper execution of all weekend services and events from a technical standpoint (Audio, Video, and Lighting), as well as overseeing all the technical systems and teams at Willingdon Church.

Responsibilities:

  • Weekend/event production planning and operation of sound, video, lighting, staging, etc. to ensure that all ministries can utilize technology efficiently and effectively for their events (includes both weekend services and internal/external events). 
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and develop Worship Arts Ministries (WAM) tech team volunteers
  • Co-ordinate both staff and volunteers to manage the technical needs of the church for both weekend and weekday events
  • Procurement and maintenance of all technical equipment
  • Work closely with the Worship Arts Director to determine weekend and building/venue needs and plan upgrades to systems

Qualifications:

  • Has ministry mindset in their understanding of the fusion of technology and worship 
  • Audio mixing and processing experience in broadcast video and media environments
  • Stage lighting operation and implementation experience 
  • Team player with demonstrated experience co-ordinating volunteers 
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a live production environment

Video Producer

Part-Time

Willingdon Church is looking for a part-time Video Producer who has a desire to create visually engaging videos that support the various ministries around the church. Working alongside the Technical Director, The Video Producer is responsible for overseeing and implementing the video capture of weekend services and events, as well as being responsible for video content creation for various ministries.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the effective video capture of weekend services and events for distributed on the website
  • Ensure quality and proper execution of all live video support (IMAG) within the various venues.
  • Create visually engaging videos (announcement/promotional videos, testimonies, instructional videos, etc.) for various ministries
  • Assist the rest of the Worship Arts Ministry tech team to provide technical support through the operation of sound, lighting, and video, at various events in the church.

Qualifications:

  • A strong understanding of various video systems and infrastructures
  • Experience in operating both cameras and video switchers in a live broadcast environment
  • Strong knowledge in utilizing software video editors
    (Final Cut/Motion and/or Premiere/After Effects)
  •  Available on weekends and evenings.
