Willingdon provides a place for men to sharpen one another in knowing Jesus within the context of purposeful friendships and accountability. The Men's Ministry is here to help men mature as disciples of Jesus who are fulfilling their God-given roles and ministries.
Friday - Saturday, June 16-17
Hey guys! Are you running on empty and your low fuel light is flashing? Or are you going through life at full speed as if your gas tank is full? If you’re running through life on empty, join with other brothers to have your tank filled with the knowledge and the love of Jesus. If your gas tank is full due to your own strength, then join with other brothers because what Jesus has is better. We invite you to come and join Pastor Vinh, Pastor Richard and other men to the Willingdon Men's Ministry Conference: REFUEL on June 16-17!
Men’s ministry at Willingdon consists of men of all ages and all backgrounds who desire to be challenged and equipped to become more like Jesus. We typically meet the third Saturday of every month at the church for a time of food, fellowship, teaching, reflection and Q&A. Come join us!
Our Men’s Ministry is excited to personally welcome you to join us in this new season of growth as we embark on a journey together through the best-selling book “Disciplines of a Godly Man” by R. Kent Hughes. Each man who shows up will be given a free copy of the book and will be asked to read certain chapters in preparation for our time together. Each month we will meet to hear teaching from one of our pastors about a particular chapter and topic in the book (e.g., Discipline for Godliness, Discipline of Friendship, Discipline of Mind, etc.) and how these disciplines can be practically lived out with our Christian faith in our culture today. There will be space and time provided for personal reflection, group discussion and Q&A with the pastors (nothing is off limits so come with your questions!). Men’s Ministry is a great place to make friends and see what God is doing in the lives of the men of our church. We’d love you to be a part of Men’s Ministry and grow with us!
