In Revelation 3:7-13, Jesus has an important message for the church in Philadelphia and for us, but many of the phrases He uses can be difficult for us to make sense of. What is the “Key of David”? What is the “Synagogue of Satan”? What “open door” is Jesus talking about? And what does it mean to be a “pillar in the temple of God”? It is only once we understand all this that we can clearly hear the important message that Jesus has for us. The good news is that there is a way for this to happen.
