Intro

As we read through the prayer requests submitted by our church family, we see people facing many crises: health crises, financial woes, unemployment, the bureaucracy of the PR process, housing affordability, moral crises, strained family relationships, barrenness.

When we face crises, it is not unusual to consult the experts: financial advisers, economic analysts, political analysts, psychologists, family counsellors, lawyers, drug addiction counsellors, medical doctors, immigration lawyers.

What do we need to remember when all of the wisdom available to us is not enough to provide us with the answer we need or the blessing we seek?
