Jesus said of the last days, “And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold” (Matt. 24:12). Although the mantra of our age is “love, peace, and justice for all,” what we see in practice is, “Love me, be at peace with me, secure justice for me.” With so much attention given to self-love, do we even know what it means to love?
