Intro

When we place our faith in Jesus, we become spiritually alive, find our identity in Christ, and are adopted into the family of God. We are free to live as God created us to live. Unfortunately, we often struggle to experience that freedom in our daily lives. In today’s text, the apostle Paul reminds Christ-followers what we have in Jesus and how to live free.

Questions for Reflection:

• Take a moment to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any lies you believe about Jesus.
• Are you choosing to battle your “flesh” by engaging in authentic community? If not, will you take the next step by joining a life group or discipleship group?
• If you are a Christ-follower and have not followed Jesus in baptism, will you sign up for the baptism class—Discovering the Church Family?
