Kids Min. Volunteers
Each week, WillingdonKids volunteers help us in our mission of helping kids and families know Jesus Christ personally and carry on His ministry.
Becoming a Kids Ministry Volunteer
Step 1: Find which area you want to serve in
There are many areas to serve in the children’s ministry. You can learn more about our various programs below or by emailing us with specific questions. Please keep in mind our volunteers must have attended Willingdon Church for a minimum of 6 months before you start volunteering in kids ministry.
Step 2: Sign Up to Serve
If you are interested in joining our team, please fill out the volunteer form below. Select “Kids Ministry” as your area of ministry, and select the specific area you would like to volunteer in. After you submit the form, we will get in touch with next steps.

Step 3: Application and Screening
In addition to our volunteers having attended Willingdon Church for a minimum of 6 months, all of our volunteers complete an application and screening process. This includes an interview, reference checks and for anyone over the age of 16, a criminal record check.

Step 4: Start Serving
Once you have completed screening and training you will start volunteering with Kids Ministries. We are so grateful to our wonderful team of volunteers who help each week :)
We are currently looking for volunteers in the following areas.
Sundays: Nursery (age 0-2), Preschool (age 2-5), Clubhouse (K-Gr 1), HQ (Gr 2-5), Imagine (special needs), Kids Choir, Kids Info Desk, SafeKids
During the Week: Ignite (Girls Club), Mom’s Connect, Playspace, Ministry Prep
