Intro

In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus declares that He is the Savior of the world by quoting Isaiah 61:1-2. He announces that a core part of His purpose is to proclaim good news to the poor, liberty to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, liberty to those who are oppressed. Jesus sees and loves people who are harassed and helpless, and we are invited to do the same.
